Today's "Brain Stretcher"

Here is today's task to get your brain warmed up.  Go through the first time, and just read the words from left to right (like you always would... duh!).  Then go through a second time, and instead of reading the word, say the color that it is written in.  See how you do.

Did you find it more difficult to read it by trying to say the colors?  It doesn't seem like it should be that hard, does it?  Now do the same thing, just saying the colors as you go left to right, with the picture shown below.  Can you do it faster on the picture shown below?  If so, why do you think that is?
